7TH ANNUAL MOUNT VERNON TO MARIETTA 160-MILE AWARENESS PADDLE

PADDLE BRIEF: The Mt. Vernon to Marietta kayak trip is a 160-mile 6-day trip that nearly covers the entire Kokosing River Trail, the Walhonding River Trail, and the Muskingum River Trail. The trip includes checkpoints in many towns such as Warsaw, Coshocton, Dresden, and Zanesville. It also encompasses the historic Muskingum River Lock System. The goal of the trip is to gain recognition for Paddle For Heroes MISSION, healing our Veterans, First Responders, and Active Duty Personnel through paddle sports. PADDLE NOTES: Checkpoint times are based on a minimum of 3mph paddle speed. Each checkpoint provides a paddling opportunity for paddlers to join us.
