About the Event
One of the seasons most rejuvenating paddles. Come Join Paddle for Heroes for a relaxing and educational 5.5 mile paddle on the Mohican River. Listen to Cody Wright from the Knox Parks District quietly name birds by their call. This is a Knox County Parks District event. Life vests are to be worn and all other state laws to be followed. A waiver will also need to be signed. Bring your favorite cup of Joe, water and a sanck. We will launch from Greer Landing and end at The Bridge of Dreams. We have a limited number of loaner boats with vests for Veterans, First Responders, Active Duty Personnel and a family member or two. If you fall into those categories you must RSVP to 740-258-2127 to ensure we have a boat for you.
