Bill Conrad Memorial Float

Join us, Friends of the Kokosing Scenic River, Friends of the Mohican Watershed, and the Keel Haulers Club on a Memorial Float to Honor outdoors enthusiast, Bill Conrad. We met Bill about 3 years ago when we included the Mohican River in our conservation program. Bill was full of information and when around the campfire or on the phone he tried to pass as much on to us as possible. He served in the military during the Korean War and was instrumental in getting the Mohican River its State Scenic designation. Bring your favorite hot drinks, (non-alcoholic) and snacks for an 8-mile trip to Brinkhaven Park. Along the way, we will share our Bill Conrad stories and shed some tears. Once we reach the end, we will have a bonfire and donuts, Bill's favorite indulgence. All state and local laws apply, this is a 100% PFD on your body event, bring dry clothes in a dry bag in case you take an unexpected swim. Vehicle staging starts at 11 am on the water by 12pm.
